  1. For me would be simply be, for 6 years I have traded and cut my teeth with partners, and for a couple of years as part of trio.

Well 2015 I was able to break away and set up on my own 100% - make my own decisions and also my mistakes :)

Yes I owe the bank some dosh but it's been a good year overall and hopefully will be a better 2016 for us all!!

  2. I think if you get a 50k-60k reasonable spec Meriva under 3k you will shift it, but when the mileages go above 80 ish people lose interest, after all it's not exactly much more to cut 20k off, thats my view on them anyway.

edit i'm talking the older shape here

  3. On 7 now. Lovely customer came for a 2009 1.6 Astra Coupe I sold Friday, ended up selling him a 2004 Merc C180K Auto lol.

Took his Fiesta St in P/ex 2007 with 53k on the clock, only (minor) issue is 5 owners, but doubt that will matter to Mr Boy Racer. Gave him £2900 so hope that retails at 4k still. Full & proper service history on it, no mods.

  4. A local dealer I have links to is also struggling with a 70k Life Model they have up for £2990, surely that would normally fly on  2006/7.

    I have had my 2008 34k on for 8 weeks and no joy, £4890 then £4590. (Breeze+)

  5. Just had to turn one down.

Merc C Class 58,000 on the clock and mint.

He has an automatic B Class to p/ex, 4 owners on a 57 he has had it 4 1/2 months (alarm bells already). 116k. He says he paid £3750 in July.

I rummage in the glove box and find a Mercedes quote dated 6 days ago, for transmission work required at £1600 alone, and £600 for other bits (cv joints etc).

Then I check the oil and it's absolutely covered in mayo/gunge all down the pipe.

I didn't even make an offer in the end.
