  2. Every day, Digital Trends is testing cars and pitting them against their closest competitors. Out of this fray rise the cream of the crop for each segment. We routinely round up the best of each category — whether it be sedans, SUVs, or hybrids — but it was high time that we rounded up all our favorites in one convenient place so you can see the best of the best at a glance. Without further ado, here are the Digital Trends picks for the best cars overall. The best compact car: Mazda3 2019 Mazda Mazda3 AWD review Why should you buy this: It’s an economy car with a soul. Who’s it for: People who want more than just basic transportation. How much will it cost: $21,000+ Why we picked the Mazda3: The Mazda3 is the kind of car other automakers should be building. It’s a regular compact economy car that emphasizes style and driving dynamics in a way that most of the competition doesn’t. Many regular cars feel like appliances, but not this one. Available as a four-door sedan or five-door hatchback, the Mazda 3 isn’t particularly fast, but it’s very nice to drive. The steering and suspension respond with an immediacy other cars in this class lack, as do Mazda’s Skyactiv four-cylinder engines. All models and trim levels get a 2.5-liter engine, which sends 186 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque to the front wheels through six-speed manual or automatic transmissions. All wheel drive is also available. Mazda’s Kodo design language yields a car that is handsome and distinctive, without resorting to excessive styling gimmicks. Current Mazda interiors are admittedly a bit plain, but the 3’s cabin is sensibly designed, and Mazda’s rotary knob infotainment controller is easy to use. Like many mainstream cars these days, the 3 is also available with an array of electronic driver aids, including adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, autonomous emergency braking, and traffic sign recognition. The best luxury car: Mercedes-Benz S-Class 2018 mercedes amg s 63 4matic review 13367 Why should you buy this: It’s the luxury sedan that says, “I’ve made it.” Who’s it for: Executives, entrepreneurs, rappers. How much will it cost: $91,250+ (sedan) Why we picked the Mercedes-Benz S-Class: The S-Class has served as the flagship of the Mercedes-Benz lineup for decades. تیرآهن 16 “It has long been the measuring stick by which luxury cars are judged,” we wrote when we drove the newest version of it. It’s well into its sixth generation, but it was recently updated with minor visual tweaks, new engines that use less gas, and a lot more tech features under the skin. Living up to its motto, “the best or nothing,” Mercedes ensured the S is comfortable regardless of whether the owner is driving or being driven. The sedan coddles its occupants with a spacious, well-lit cabin that’s as quiet as a bank vault, and it offers some of the most comfortable seats you’ll ever sit in. There’s an S-Class to suit every luxury buyer’s need. The lineup includes an entry-level model with a six-cylinder under the hood, a V8-powered model, an immensely powerful variant made by Mercedes-AMG, and a pair of ultra-luxurious Maybach-badged models. In addition to the sedan, Mercedes offers S-Class coupe and convertible models. The best Hybrid: Toyota Prius 2019 Toyota Prius Why should you buy this: The Prius continues to define the hybrid category in most every way. Who’s it for: Anyone who hates visiting the gas station. How much will it cost: $23,770+ Why we picked the Toyota Prius: The name “Prius” is synonymous with “hybrid,” and for good reason. Toyota’s bestselling hybrid continues to prioritize fuel economy above all else, and though efficiency is its main goal, the Prius doesn’t ask buyers to make any major compromises — except maybe in the styling department. The Prius is the most fuel-efficient hybrid around, getting an Environmental Protection Agency-rated 56 mpg combined in Eco trim. That’s thanks to Toyota’s tried-and-true Hybrid Synergy Drive system, and a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that achieves a 40 percent thermal efficiency, which is much higher than most engines. The Prius also achieves a very low drag coefficient of 0.24, meaning it has fairly low aerodynamic drag, which helps improve efficiency. Toyota’s designers managed to do that while maintaining a roomy cabin and useful hatchback shape. The current-generation Prius is also appreciably sportier than previous models, thanks to changes like a lower center of gravity and a more sophisticated double-wishbone independent rear suspension system. Like other Toyota models, the Prius also gets the Toyota Safety Sense suite of driver-assistance features (including adaptive cruise control and a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection) as standard equipment. The Prius is still a fuel economy champ, but the current version’s emphasis on sporty handling and technology make it a better all-around car than ever before. The best hatchback: Volkswagen Golf best hatchbacks vw golf lifestyle Why should you buy this: The Golf ticks every box in the mainstream hatchback segment. Who’s it for: Anyone who just needs a car. How much will it cost: $21,845+ Why we picked the Volkswagen Golf: The Volkswagen Golf hasn’t been the bestselling car in Germany for decades by accident. Now well into its seventh generation, Volkswagen’s most popular nameplate continues to offer one of the best interiors in its class, a generous amount of trunk space, and agile handling at an attractive price point. The Golf speaks tech, too. All but the lowest trims come with a state-of-the-art infotainment تیرآهن 18 system displayed on a color touch screen, and the list of options includes driving aids such as a lane departure warning system, forward collision warning, and adaptive cruise control. You can even get a digital instrument cluster, which is normally found on much more expensive cars. Volkswagen offers several variants of the Golf. Buyers in select states can pick up an all-electric model called the e-Golf that’s capable of driving for up to 125 miles on a single charge. At the other end of the spectrum, the iconic GTI is one of the very best hot hatches money can buy. Finally, the Golf R tugs at the heartstrings of speed aficionados with a 300-horsepower turbo four and all-wheel drive. The best sports car: Audi R8 V10 Plus 2017 Audi R8 V10 Plus Miles Branman/Digital Trends Why should you buy this: It’s the everyday supercar. Who’s it for: Those who want high performance without sacrificing comfort. How much will it cost: $189,900 Why we picked the Audi R8 V10 Plus: The 2017 Audi R8 is an anomaly. Audi has built a car that’s as refined as a luxury two-door with the power of a hypercar. The low-slung coupe uses sharp creases, carbon fiber accents, and a mid-engine layout to distinguish itself from lesser sports cars, but it doesn’t command attention in the same way as rivals. Its 5.2-liter V10 delivers 610 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque to all four wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Acceleration is blistering: 0 to 60 mph takes less than 3.0 seconds and top speed is a blazing-fast 205 mph. Within the cabin, occupants are treated to a magnificent engine wail and class-leading convenience features. Audi’s 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit display gives drivers access to every vehicle function and reduces clutter. Audi Drive Select adjusts suspension damping to transform ride quality from mellow to aggressive in an instant. It’s not just fast and sharp; it’s high-tech, too. At the sub-$200,000 price point, the Audi R8 V10 Plus invites challenges from McLaren’s 570S, Porsche’s 911 Turbo S, Acura’s NSX, Aston Martin’s V12 Vantage S, and Mercedes-AMG’s GT R. Each vehicle is astoundingly quick, attractive, and desirable, but the R8 is the only supercar that’s as thrilling on a track as it is in a neighborhood.
  3. Past few months, I had issues with my headlights flickering randomly and I was going nuts. Found out that it was ground issue that was caused in tail light section. I just went to pepboys real quick and decided to give it a try. so far so good but I still need to drive little more but here it is anyways. stuff that you would need 0.250" blade receptacle strip of size #18 electrical tape utility knife pliers 1. open your trunk and take the tail lights off. disconnect the wire and when you look at the wire, brown wire is the ground wire. it is the thickest one out of all the wires. 2. when you look at the the tali light wire, look at where brown wire is going. it should be going into #4 section استیل هامون and follow the metal part and attach receptacle on it. just like this 3. wire the #18 wire to receptacle and attach it to the tail light ground metal just like this. 4. after you did that, go back to trunk, slice open the brown wire and wire around the brown wire and don't forget to put electrical tape around it. 5. after that, just place back together.
  4. Address Diesel Generator Smoke And Prolong Your Generators Life! Diesel smoke is an engine symptom which indicates that an engine is not running well, and should be taken as an warning that there may be a problem that could potentially shorten the engine life or increase operating costs unless prompt remedial action is taken. The smoke may be caused by a simple problem, poor combustion efficiency or from excessive idling, stop start operation or short run times. At the other end of the scale, it may be your last chance to act, before a catastrophic engine failure occurs (e.g. piston seizure, valve or turbocharger failure). Under most operating conditions, a diesel engine in good condition should produce no visible smoke from the exhaust. A short puff of smoke when an engine is suddenly loaded may be acceptable to older technology diesel engine. This is due to the lag before the turbocharger speed and air flow is able to match the volume of diesel injected into the cylinders. In modern diesel engines, no smoke at all should be evident. TYPES OF GENERATOR SMOKE BLACK SMOKE is the most common smoke emitted from diesel engines. It indicates poor and incomplete combustion of the diesel fuel. Black smoke is high in carbon or soot, which is an undesirable product of diesel combustion. There are many causes, including: • Incorrect timing • Injectors sticking open • Over-fuelling • Faulty turbocharger • Incorrect valve clearances • Incorrect air/fuel ratio • Low cylinder compression (e.g. sticking piston rings or worn components) • Dirty air cleaner • Restricted induction system (system too small or kinked inlet piping) • Dirty intake manifolds • Poor quality fuel • Excessive carbon build up in combustion and exhaust spaces • Cool operating temperatures Obviously, worn or damaged components must be replaced, and the تیرآهن 18 earlier you identify and fix the problem, the less damage will be done. It is important to keep on top of engine tune issues, including valve adjustments and, regular servicing of air, fuel and oil filters. BLUE SMOKE is an indication of engine oil being burnt. This oil can enter the combustion chamber for several reasons: • Worn valve guides or seals • Wear in power assemblies (i.e. cylinders, piston rings, ring grooves) • Cylinder glaze • Piston rings sticking • Faulty turbocharger seals • Incorrect grade of oil • Fuel dilution in the oil At cold start, blue smoke is often evident, and can reflect reduced oil control due to fouling deposits around piston rings or cylinders. Blue smoke should not be evident at any time, but it is worth noting, that engines with good compression can burn quite a lot of oil without evidence of blue smoke. Good compression allows oil to burn cleanly, as part of the fuel. WHITE SMOKE occurs when raw diesel comes through the exhaust completely intact and unburned. Some causes of this include: • Faulty or damaged injectors • Incorrect injection timing or worn timing gear • Low cylinder compression (possibly caused by leaking or broken valves, piston ring sticking, cylinder and/or ring wear, or glazed cylinder bores If white smoke occurs at cold start, and then disappears as the engine warms up, the most common causes of this are fouling deposits around piston rings and/or cylinder glazing. Water entering combustion spaces will also create white smoke. Faulty head gaskets and cracked cylinder heads or blocks are a common cause of water entry and are often to blame. Unfortunately, expensive mechanical repair is the only proper solution here. BLOWBY SMOKE This is the emission of crankcase pressure, fumes and smoke out of the crankcase ventilation system, and is generally regarded as a clear indication of an urgently needed and expensive engine rebuild. It is evident as pressure coming out the crankcase ventilation tube, valve cover breather or dipstick tube. Engine oil leaks can also result from excessive cylinder blowby, as the excess pressure finds the weakest point. Some causes include: • Sticking piston rings • Worn cylinders • Worn or broken piston rings • Cracked pistons Explore our all Maintenance Services here. 5. 12 Tips On How To Get Rid Of Negative Thoughts Once And For All You deserve to love yourself. You deserve to feel confident in your skin. Here is a rundown on how to get rid of negative thoughts so you never feel self-conscious again. Your negative thoughts are holding you back from reaching your full potential. They are convincing you to remain in your comfort zone because you are not good enough. They are causing self-doubt and ruining your chances of reaching self-acceptance. Even though you might be used to your negative thoughts by now, you should not continue to give them power over you. You should fight against them. You should actively work toward destroying them. If you cannot stop thinking about how awkward and alone you are, if you cannot stop imagining the worst case scenario, you need to change your mindset. Here are a few tips on how to get rid of negative thoughts once and for all: 1. Take screenshots of the sweet texts your loved ones send you. When you have a negative thought, you should balance it out with a positive one. Of course, that is hard to do when your brain has been trained to see the worst in yourself. That is why you should screenshot the sweet messages your friends, family members, and old flames send to you. When you cannot think of anything good about yourself, let your loved ones do the talking. 2. Surround yourself with words of encouragement. Buy a phone case with an inspirational quote on the back. Change your desktop background to a motivational saying. Stick post-it notes to your mirror reminding yourself of your worth. Place uplifting words in your phone alarms, on your refrigerator, and on your calendar. Surround yourself with positivity. 3. Change your body language. You have probably been told smiling will make you feel better — but you can do even more than smile. Sit up straight. Unclench your hands and your jaw. Push your shoulders back. Modifying your body language is quick and easy, but it can lead to a big change in the way you see yourself. When you look confident, you feel a bit more confident. 4. Censor your social media. If following Instagram models makes you feel worse about your own body, delete them. If seeing old high school classmates on Facebook reminds you of the worst days of your life, unfriend them. If social media is causing your negative thoughts, spend less time on each platform or delete the page completely. You don’t need them. 5. Take more selfies. Taking selfies does not make you self-obsessed. They can actually help you when you are feeling down. The next time you look in the mirror and feel unattractive, swipe through your favorite pictures of yourself. Create an album of them so they are easy to find. You can even throw in some pictures of your pet or your favorite coffee mug — anything that will send your mind in a more positive direction. 6. Catalog your negative thoughts. Keep a running list in your phone of your negative thoughts. Write down what time of day they occurred, what the thought was, and what made it pop into your mind. After a few weeks — or even days — you should be able to find a pattern. You might be your most negative when you are around a certain friend, when you are hungry, or when you are bored. Discovering what triggers your negative thoughts could help you figure out a way to get rid of them for good. 7. Write down your negative thoughts — and tear them to pieces. Sometimes, you need to express your darkest thoughts in order to rid yourself of them. The next time negativity is getting the best of you, grab a piece of paper and a pen. Write down everything you are feeling and then tear the paper into pieces. Make sure you write the words down by hand, because deleting a chunk of text from your computer screen is not going to feel as liberating. 8. Listen to uplifting music. You have probably heard the friends you surround yourself with can impact your mood, which is why you should only hang out with people who make you feel good about yourself. However, you should also be careful about what type of music you surround yourself with on a daily basis. تیرآهن Upbeat, energizing music will put you in a better mood. Meanwhile, slow, depression music will put you in a funk. 9. Take better care of your body. You will be in a much better mood if you eat healthier, get eight hours of sleep, and exercise every single day. When you exercise, it increases your serotonin, which helps your brain regulate mood. It also increases your endorphins, which are natural mood lifters. Never forget your mind and your body are connected. When your body is healthier, it will positively impact your mind. 10. Find a creative outlet for your pain. Instead of letting your self-hatred eat away at you, release your negative thoughts in an artistic way. Paint. Draw. Dance. Write. Sing. Sew. Use your pain to create something beautiful. This will help in two ways. It will release your pent-up anger at yourself. And, the next time you feel yourself thinking negative thoughts, you can look at what you created and remind yourself how talented you are. 11. Find solid distractions until the negative thoughts pass. Sometimes, your negative thoughts are only temporary. When you find yourself getting too hard on yourself, you should stop to listen to a podcast, watch a show, or eat a healthy snack. When you are finished, you might not even be able to remember what you were upset about in the first place. Just make sure you use healthy distractions — not booze or drugs. 12. Attend therapy. Getting rid of your negative thoughts is not as easy as taking a bubble bath and wearing bright colors. If you have spent your whole life thinking negatively and want to change your thought process, you should search for a therapist. They will be able to provide you with the tools you need to make a change. They will be able to push you toward bettering yourself. Never let your negative thoughts lower your standards. Never let them convince you to settle in any part of your life. It’s going to take some work, but you can banish those bad thoughts. You can learn to love yourself and accept yourself.
