I'll have some of your luck I think! £100 loss being your worse!

I done £4k on a BMW X5 once. Overheating, changed the rad and thermostat (as guided by the garage) but in the end it transpired to be a lot worse, plus the gearbox was starting to thump like a heavyweight boxer so I SOR it and took a £4k bath.

Im sure my loss will come ...... Im just not looking forward to it being relatively new compared to some people i have done less cars i also try to stay away from the BMWs other than minis and anything complicated 4x4 wise.

So over the last 6 months we have noticed that we are getting much more sales from car gurus.

decemeber and jan car gurus are almost at 50/50 with auto trader now.

has anyone else noticed a large increase in good quality leads from car gurus? I seem to be getting much younger people coming through car gurus.

our last 4 sales have all been gurus also. Tide is turning?

I have had the exact opposite signed up in October and had cracking first 2 months and no a dicky bird since.

How did you get on with this?
I’m thinking of ordering one as I currently have a few cars that smell of smoke

No complaints used it on two cars.

Leaves a small amount of chemically clean smell but a traditional air freshener round the mirror and it has been great since.

One car went this weekend no complaints from the customer.

Agreed, I had a good time in the summer. I think 69 plate sales have been crap hence the lack of nice straight part exchanges.

I'm in awe of some of the regular 'traders' at my local auction house buying the current crop of shit from the dealer part exchange events. How they make a profit is beyond me - I clearly have a lot to learn

I brought so many cars in late august for peanuts cant get anything at the moment

It’ll need more than 2 hours if it properly stank - the smell will return. If it’s a proper stinker it’ll need 4-6 hours. Afterwards you need to get the doors open for a day to air out the interior otherwise that ozone chlorine-type smell seems to stick as much as the fag smoke.

Its been a few days since i have done it and it seems to of settled down to a normal smell now. I currently have it running on a fiesta so will see how that one works

  6. Reporting back on this.

Managed to sell the Audi but since brought Bob Marley's mini and it stunk.

O zone machine set for 2 hours left overnight and smells clinically clean

Dare I say it; Facebook market place, private advert, private sale, invoice raised by my company.

    I think that helps.

From what i see here this was a director of a company selling a car in a company name privately . Customer came back with some issues so you made a fair offer as you wasn't aware of any faults at the point of sale.

Now its time to tell him to swan off.

How are my markers live for some and not for others? I am looking on iPhone, iPad and Mac computer (without account) and the new markers aren't live for me

If im not being silly and looking at the right dealer the markers are there for everything but the focus cheapy and the TT.

Not only as paying method. I've heard trading bitcoins is a real way to get some money, besides, from what I've read, it's pretty interesting. There are many platforms, some of them also offer tutorials and demo versions for beginners. Instaforex founded by Ильдар Шарипов (Ildar Sharipov) is one of them. It's been a month or so I started training, it's pretty difficult, though fascinating. Are there any other newbies?

Spoke to Dealer auction yesterday ,if your already on there it stays at £99 a year, although the way he was talking that is probably going  up slightly. If your not on there and want to join then its £99 a month... any thing Autotrader are involved in is going to have your pants down.

Nah, you can touch the Iphone charging mat, so I am thinking like that really - no science to back up my idea of course. I love wireless charging, now I just want a hoseless hosepipe, i.e. just hold the trigger.

I actually think there is some science to it.

Looks like there is already something similar in sweden.
