The admin should sort it out in all honesty, other forums seem to be able to manage it.

GB news? Seriously? Our ‘TV’ usually unpicks this stuff forensically. Funded by wealthy elites who believe there’s a gap in the market for programmes railing against cultural elites who impose their views on ordinary Britons. Its main backers include the US TV group Discovery, the Dubai based investment fund Legatum and the brexit-funding hedge fund boss sir Paul Marshall?
OK if you like that sort of thing?
All about freedom of choice though isn't it?
I don't get why people care so much about what others choose to do.

MOTs are very hit and miss whether they are dodgy or not. You could take any car to ten different MOT stations and I guarantee you will get very different reports.

I just checked her YouTube as I was curious and its had no updates for 6 months Seems strange to decide to travel around the world during a pandemic as well.

Clacton
God knows what shes upto but she was certainly different but it definitely worked for her. She knew how to get on tv as well, lovely free advertising. I know a few people who leased cars from her and they had nothing but good things to say, she must have done something right.

I'm reliably informed the one in Deptford and Norwood still do the same if required. Crazy really as surely people want to make sure their cars are at least safe.

However I did sell a car before lockdown to a customer remotely. The customer paid a holding fee (not a deposit) has signed a disclaimer waving their rights under the distance selling legislation. The agreement is that they inspect the car on delivery and either accept or reject it then. If they reject then they lose their holding fee.
My question is...could I still subject by the terms of distance selling legislation?
You cannot get anybody to just sign away their rights.
Distance selling regulations ended in 2014, it's the consumer contract regulations now.

No. If it has sentimental value why sell it in the first place. It's never going to make her much regardless of MOT work.

Apart from the icons all good, it's a shame I no longer have my administrator privileges though, was quite eye opening

Check, challenge, appeal is the governments slogan for this. They are either scamming you or trying to charge for something that can be done easily yourself.

But could somebody tell me, IF a homeowner needs an equity release perhaps for a sibling in need of a large cash advance, does the equity release company buy the property immediately before any cash is released, or do they just wait until the house sells?

Have a look on Amazon, they have loads at a decent price.

How much have they enabled him to make in that time though. What might not work for you is obviously working for him and he's happy with it.

I have just read an interview he gave to autocar magazine.....
It’s interesting to discover that among Hartley’s business heroes are Philip Green and Mike Ashley (of BHS and Sports Direct respectively) and that he considers Donald Trump a genius.
Speaks volumes.

You can buy Facebook likes from Asia etc, the same with Twitter followers etc. So if you see someone jump up in a short space of time that is probably how they are doing it

Before you ask the warranty starts from registration date but do check the service countdown is reset if it’s had an early PDI.
Some larger fleet dealers are delivering cars but most smaller retail outlets have furloughed staff and would need individual people to do the following to make it happen, PDI, Valet, Invoice, Register / RFL, Hans over.
In most cases main dealers are just taking holding deposits on used cars rather than delivering them.
It's a pity there weren't a few more of you on here.

1 hour ago, TangoVictor32 said:I haven't pulled anyone in nearly 3 decades. I retired at a high ranking. But obviously you won't belive that.
You deal with more management and statistics at higher rankings. I am speaking statistically. Perhaps you should look at the Mets crime area map on their website for a brief idea.
But clearly you're a retard to not listen to anyone else. It's pointless even having a discussion with a narrow minded individual who doesn't even want to listen to what the other person(s) are saying. Again it just proves my theory you have a fixated mindset and view and you think it is correct.
You're entitled to an opinion but it doesn't mean it's correct. I am talking from experience and statistics.
But good look with your typical, negative south London attitude. It will get you far Mr Grumpy.
@Boycie there is a lot of discipline action including job losses. Again this is published on force websites nowadays I believe.
Officers are scrutinised on the job.
Even getting penalty points in your personal car leads to disciplinary action. Failing to declare this at work is further disciplinary action.
I'm bored of this now. I used pulling someone over as an example as you had referred to pulling someone over as an example. The fact you used retard as an insult says a lot about you as a person, but there you go. As for not getting far in life, I haven't done all that badly and I still have half my life left all being well.
Anyway I will leave you to your world where you are a success, you are always right and you have now learnt how car insurance actually works. Maybe they never taught that at high ranking police college

1 hour ago, TangoVictor32 said:I never said my neighbour. Clearly you cannot read properly.
You have made such a pathetic attempt to back track what you said. Funny how your language changed when put in your place.
Its attitude like yours were the cops have to get assertive to deal with you and then you bash them.
Like I said am basing your rationale on your posts throughout the forum. Full of negativity. Again your pathetic attempt to try and implement some humour. It's so cringeworthy.
Keep replying because that's all you do without actually taking it to account anything that has been said. Like i said pillocks like you turn a 5 minute pull over job into 50 minutes and end up getting tickets then crying about it.
Yes you did say your neighbour, yet you accuse me of not being able to read. You cannot even remember what you wrote. I'm surprised you were not snapped up by the SOCA.
I'm not backtracking at all. Once again attitudes like yours are why people do not respect the police. They only have to be pulled over by someone like you and their whole view of the police is tarnished. I don't have to take into account of anything you have said, the same as you don't have to take into account anything I have said. I don't like people with the attitude that you have and you obviously feel the same about me. I can live with that.

55 minutes ago, TangoVictor32 said:You can argue whatever you like but you're a cop basher.
'But you are everything that is wrong with the police'
That statement says so. People like you always think you're right. And you're prejudging without working in the job.
The examples i given you, you clearly dismissed them yet you know they're true. You resemble nothing but the typical London attitude. South East London to be precise and i know the negative sods there. Spent enough years there. Again it proves what i said. Looking at your other, majority of, negative posts further evidences it.
PS i just had a message off a member saying you annoy them too. You should really get out more. You spent 20/30 years in SE London or more? Then you cannot change your attitude.
Like i said visit North. North is above Nottingham / Birmingham. You will see how people talk to you. They give you time.
Dont get your vehicles delivered. Go for a couple of days (Newcastle / Manchester Bca) stay there and just see how people interact.
Clearly lockdown is making you go mad.
Am in the midlands and that doesn't cut it for me. I so want to relocate to Glasgow or Newcastle. They're the most relaxed and friendliest places in the UK on paper... And in person!
Gusss am just wasting time telling you this because you got a fixated negative mindset.
My neighbour once told me when i was a little boy 'just because someone is old doesn't mean they're wise'. Similarly when one is negative and fixated they'll always will be negative and fixated.
Oh no, so you had a message from someone who said I annoy them as well. First I was offered a meet up and now this, well I'm gutted about that, absolutely distraught in fact. I doubt I will need counselling but it may take me a long time to get over it
You can say what you like but I'm not anti police, I socialise with police several times a year through being a member of an organisation. I also stand by what I say, attitudes such as yours do not belong in the police. They are outdated and detract from the positive work the police undoubtedly do.
As for the little story about your neighbour. It's not similar in the slightest. I don't think you will be troubling Mensa anytime soon.

6 hours ago, TangoVictor32 said:Well sorry to disappoint you.
You seem like a cop basher like a lot of people...
Imagine doing a job where you're constantly called out to petty domestics... 'he stole my car jack and am going to smash him'
'my misus is texting other guys and I punched her'.
You rarely get domestics in affluent areas. You get more burglaries... Ie theft of expensive cars, jewelry etc.
There is a trend. Just like your job now, you know who is going to pay you and buy a car or who is going to come and test drive and waste your time. Then you know who is going to come and play 'the mechanic of 20yrs'.
Every job has idiots and good people. That's like joe public saying car dealers are dodgy... You won't like it.
Forum is full of topics on how all customers are liars. Well no they're not.
All i tried to do was advise someone and, as usual, you dish out your negative side.
To be frank, the London attitude does stink. More chance of finding gold bars than a decent Londoner nowadays.
Visit up north and you'll see the difference in people. And no 'north' isn't 'anywhere out of the m25'.
PS there is a surge of complaints people breaking the lock down rules... Neighbours reporting neighbours for tit for tat...
Please go and find out if these neighbours are from a ghetto who blocked someone's parking space on a terraced street or whether it's one neighbour jealous that the other one has 3 ensuites in his 4 bedroom detached posh pad whilst he doesn't have any
Not a cop basher at all. But you are everything that is wrong with the police, prejudging and having a view of people before you have even bet them. Which is just what is wanted in the police
Then again I'm speaking to an ex copper who never fully understood how car insurance works
-
9 minutes ago, trade vet said:I have to say, that sounds like a true South Londoner.
What he said, sounded like a true copper/ex copper.
Believe me cops like listening to people from a decent area.. It's the whole social circle crap... Ie if they know you live in a half a million pound house..
Most people around here live in half a million pound houses, hopefully they will demean themselves to help out if we ever need them.
