I taxed a car to use last month using the new keeper supplement (only a £30 er) but I have just sold the car and it is being collected tonight.

Do I need to tax it again, or will that tax carry over to the new owner (as I didn't change the V5 keeper details last time).

I can't see it being any different to when we "hold back" sending a V5 off for a few weeks in case of rejection.

    TIA

Agree with customer to backdate v5 reg doc new details date from last month when u taxed it and congragulate him on 11 months free road tax.

I know it's only the 4th but if it carries on like this forget the turkey, it'll be bread with bread sauce!

Done one. Our oldest car in stock. I don't mean longest, I mean oldest. 1998 V70 petrol, so clean it would put a three year old one to shame. 21 services, one owner and the new owner doesn't seem to care less that it's about as good as a old barge can get.

This car sounds lovely and new owner sounds as if he is gonna run it into the ground and end up seizing engine through not checking oil, sad however have saw this scenario many times.

Now done two, took a punt from in a Galaxy out of MOT. Turns out that was a silly idea, needs discs and has a whole in the sill. Have eBayed it spares or repairs. Hope not to take a pill.
