  1. I tend to use FB boosted posts to shoecase a completed camper, this is aimed at a target audience. Also do the same on Instagram, I'm more for brand awareness then selling a particular  vehicle.

I spend around £20 per boosted post, The camper Im doing now was a result of Instagram.

Did you not refuse £400 profit on it from someone on here. Then I think someone else was advising it would ‘waltz out’ for 2 grand profit, you have got to laugh......stick to what you are good at Mr C.

Its only been a few weeks .. I've sat on cars for way longer.

  3. I know I'm in a different game these days but Nov and Dec were flat out. I have campers booked in till late March. I'm quoting on Aprils job at the moment. And this is the quiet period, Just wait till it gets busy !!

Got someone starting with me in January as I just cant cope with it. Mrs C has made me take a few days off over Xmas but I know where I would rather be.

With regards to the only car I have for sale.... Apart from the text message bottom feeders I've Not had a sniff on the Z4 I bought at the end of October.

    I thought I'd update

Early Christmas present. I couldn't resist updating my smoker to a 56 plate Focus ghia 1.8tdci, one lady owner for all but 1yr of its life. Full main dealer history. 95k. Had a clutch. Everything works. Couple of hundred quid.

Since yesterday and i've done about 300 miles in it without issue.  Happy diesel days, even in London!:D

First rule of Bangernomics Run it in to the ground, NEVER wash it or spend any money on it apart from fuel and its MOT

  5. Bought a 2000 Audi S4 Avant off a mate of mine, The old B5 with the 2.7 Bi Turbo lump. Absolutely loved it, back to basics old school car built at a time before the accounts were in control.

I fancy a nice original Mk1 TT 225, I think they are a design classic. Modern cars do nothing for me.... That said I do like the new E Class coupe!

  6. Many years ago whilst trading from home I had a council visit.  Long story short.....actually its a very short story.

In a nutshell he rocked up showed me his ID, told me of the complaint. Had a quick butchers, could clearly see no signage, engines out of cars or mechanical type work going on.  Obviously the complaint had been exaggerated.

He left with no further action.

Oh no, that would require effort on his part and he might loose your vehicle to someone with cash in the meantime...

Plus he wants it now and why should he be made to wait.

BTW seen your advert, car does look great.

Love your T5 steels on the caddy too, perfect set up!

The Caddy is my favourite vehicle, we go everywhere in the van.

  8. Stuck it on last night, You have got to love eBay......

What a brilliant car and looks like it should cost more !!
Let me make an offer that is indeed more than your asking price, but there is a But....and am relying on the old adage that if you don't ask...you don't get !
I have an Original wildlife oil painting by collected artist Tony Forrest. It has been valued at £8,000 by Whitewall Galleries (large chain of over 40 galleries and is they who exhibit originals by Forrest). I will happily offer this if the car is as nice as she appears.
I have certificated proof of value, ownership and authenticity.
Keep it and use as an investment - you will make good money, (I bought it for £450 and look at it now !). Sell it on and you'll still be way over your top price - you will be in a win/win.
I actually live in France where Forrest has no market - his market is UK or USA so not easy for me to sell quickly.
Your car is what we all hope to find, but rarely do, so am happy to take the hit on the price differential,
Can send j-pegs if you want,
    John
