Does anyone know an accurate way to predict what a car will be worth in the future?

Recommended Posts

Would like to find out how much a car is worth in 3 , 4 , 5 years time. Does anyone know how I could do this?

Thanks

One for the contract hire boys I think.

I always worked at a rough estimate of a car devaluing by half every 2 years, given sensible miles and condition. If that ever let me down I keep a deck of Tarot cards on my desk and a crystal ball is my paperweight

Surely only AT could tell you, they seem to know everything else. Failing that, there's an old gypsy woman on Rhyl prom who charges a couple of quid for such info. Get me a 99 and I'll go and ask her for you.

Well you could hang on to it for 20 years and every time you see a similar make and model run it off the road so as the amount of production units on the road decreases and the value of the ones remaining increases. This only works if you have not got a Delorean! :)
