Jaguar X type headlight bulb replacement

Recommended Posts

Any tips on how to replace the drivers headlight bulb on a 2009 x type?

I can unclip the rear cover...however there is NO SPACE to take out the cover or drop it!

Seriously who the F designs cars that the only way to replace a £2 bulb you will have to remove the bumper and headlight?

same for me on a  61 plate mondeo you have to part undo the bumper to remove the headlight .........................as you say No room

2010 Mazda 6 is the same. Got to take wheel off and remove inner wing liner. Then they expect you to carry spare bulbs if you are driving in France. I sure won’t be changing  a Mazda 6 headlight bulb in the dark.

I will go into the dealers.

There isnt a milf there (there is in sales) but parts has a plumpy 4 eyed nerd. She'll do

Pathetic thing is. Imagine you change the bulb and put it back together and then 20 minutes later it blows again...

I adjusted the headlights by the switch and then it died. Wish i never did.
