I just want to know if it's possible to identify the source of a vehicle on their site, whether a car is entered 'insurance direct' or via a third part/private owner? Caveat Yes, I know about Copart! AutoJacob 34 Posted April 10, 2018 Cars with black tape on the reg are direct from insurance and finance co's, all others are private / independent companies. You can call them and they confirm who is selling it. Just be aware that they often hide a lot of things.. a bit like BCA. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
