That's amazing Simon - I have just looked to see who's winning and saw they were based in France - hopefully this isn't going to turn to rat shit......again.

I have had two people say how nice this car is, unfortunately one was my neighbour and the other, my dad.

Plenty of watchers but let's see.  (I am at break even now)

Lets hope the french bidder doesn't own it ;)

If I had a shilling for my advice.......

Here’s today’s best phone enquiry on a £1399 gem;

Punter: Hi, I’m interested in the car. Will you take £1200?

Me: No but I’ll split the difference at £1300.

5 minutes of questions later...........
Punter: Ok I’ll phone you NEXT Friday when I’ve got the money.

I hate these. Got a lovely 207 XS Sport in, really low mileage. Had it up for £2300, bloke came who wasn't really keen on it anyway, he'd seen other 207s with higher mileage and different spec for £1300, so he asked if I'd drop to £1600.

Another lady came to view. She didn't have the money as she was selling her car and didn't know what she'd get for it, and "just wanted to check it out". What the F for?! What a waste of time!

I think I know what you're talking about - good idea but you're wrong - genuine sale (I hope) and I have no idea who the French bidder was (despite my dad living in France, with no Ebay account).
