James Baggott 227 Posted November 1, 2013 I've had an amazing experience this week. I got to try the Jaguar C-X75, the maker's super car that never happened. The story behind the car was fascinating, and we tell it in full in the next issue. It forms part of a brilliant (and I would say that) feature on 'Skunkworks' cars. Those being the back room projects of manufacturers that we wished had seen the light of day. It got me thinking - what cars do you wish had been made that never were? Paul Stewart 8 Posted November 2, 2013 Remember reading an article on BMW's that they made as a one off, bet there's some great cars hidden away round the world.
Jamie Edmonds 28 Posted November 4, 2013 The M3 Touring. BMW seem to have made a few as one off internal projects but none have ever made production, which is a huge shame given how well the C63 and RS4 sell, and I bet the BMW would be a better drivers car than either.
Andy Entwistle 96 Posted November 7, 2013 how about the cars that SHOULD never HAVE happened ? I'll throw the Chrysler Neon in for starters..... bloody awful car !
Jamie Edmonds 28 Posted November 8, 2013 Citroen C3 Pluriel - a badly conceived unreliable piece of junk which wobbled if you drove over a white line and leaked like a sieve. The Peugeot 1007 was similarly pointless with its silly electric doors and centre of gravity somewhere in the stratosphere as a result. The Neon made sense in the USA where it cost about £6k, but in the UK at over twice that price it was a bit of a joke.
