metcars 397 Posted September 30, 2016 How are we finding customer resistance to automatics nowadays. There was a time when the auto boxes in small cars were made of chocolate but times are changing. There was also a time when autos were for old people and never on a sports car, but with true motorsport cars adopting auto boxes and of course the 'playstation' generation, times are chaning! I've never had an issue with an auto but no auto box is 100% safe what with their own ecu and internal clutch packs etc. The only brand I would avoid is Renault really but even Japanese autos can go bang!
