CRW 73 Posted July 21, 2023 As per the title, with this vague mystical thing looming over us, has anybody got any advice of how they have managed to tick the boxes regarding consumer duty? It all just seems totally vague and really not sure how or what to do. I'm a sole trader selling very few on finance, willing to put the necessary in place, but really not sure what the necessary is! Any advice, much appreiated!
trade vet 701 Posted July 21, 2023 It sounds like more FCA bullshit for Consumer Protection for Prime Chucky Duffers who then get proposed to the various sub prime brokers and accepted at enormous % APR.On my old pitch they tell Chucky Duffers to raise their own finance as they only do prime finance.I found years ago that sub prime chucky punters were often trouble ,their swappers were totally neglected and they never returned to buy something else.If you carry good stock, wait for a proper punters to buy it. Sorry not much help
