Just waisted 4 hours of my time at BCA Paddock wood.... prices are unbelievable, from cheaper bits to lumpy bits , where they are going with em and the profit they are having out of em f*^k knows.

I’m not too worried about the prices, I’m used to paying strong money at BCA!!
What I’m more concerned about, is cars being ‘misrepresented’ or having major mechanical defects hidden / undeclared.
If there’s the odd gem albeit for strong money, then it’s worth pursuing, but didn’t want to waste my time if it’s just utter junk being offered on there. Although I suspect there is plenty of junk on there!!
How do you guys know which site is which? Do you just recognise the back drops after collecting cars from there? I.e do you have to experience a few wrong ‘uns before you know who to avoid?
Thanks. Can you say which site you’re at?

"Not to worried about prices " you'll get on just fine on there then .

From guidelines on application form ... plates have got to be vertical , how can you have em vertical .
4. Display of trade plates
A trade plate:
• must be displayed on a vehicle as long asit is visible and vertical on both the front and rear (rear only for motorcycles)
• cannot be displayed inside a vehicle
• must not cover the vehicle’s existing number plates (except motorcycles)Please note: Motorcycles can continue to display a trade plate

We are all con men and dishonest ... what do punters expect
i would of probably put just been serviced but don't think you've done anything wrong , he should of asked to see the history before he parted.

Don't take credit cards, even for a deposit, any probs with car and credit card company can just take all the money back off you and give it back to Customer .
-
So who is buying cars at stupid money....no one is admitting to it , they are either earning naff all out of em or marking up double dear , which doesn't make sense seeing how slow things are at the moment .

Found a small bag of skunk in a PX years back , I took it home and got the Mrs stoned, then ate Caramacs and crisps and drank lemonade all night .

You are doing your best, it's a second hand car and you haven't said " go do one"
Ffs what more do people want?
Exactly .. punters ,can't live with em and definately can't live without em

Perhaps I should of just said , does a customer has same rights when there is a fault with a car if its being used for buisness use or hire and reward .
-
About 500 ish , wouldnt that be irrelevant if it's being used for hire and reward or buisness use.
-
Long and short of it , sold a Zafira to a couple 6 weeks ago , fresh mot , service etc, comes back with management light on and making a noise , sounds like cam, not a problem put it straight into garage to get done , cause they didn't get it back next day.. getting the usual I want my money back etc, tried explaining my magic wand is broken but like talking to a brick wall with an attitude.
any way the wife keeps saying she can't go to work , during a phone call earlier from her I asked where she works , she said she was self
employed and was driving car all day for work, sounds like hire and reward and buisness use to me. I will get problem resolved with car , but any future problems that she might come back with where do I stand can I refuse to do any more repairs cause of the buisness use ,cheers people.

customer - the air con doesn't seem to be working .
dealer - I didn't advertise it with having air con
customer - but it has it and it doesn't work .
dealer - it doesn't make the car unsafe , once you've bought it go and get it re - gassed , shall we step into the office ....
really .... how many punters would swallow that .
