  1. As it turns out this "news scandal" reached BBC now https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m0004wt0/rip-off-britain-series-11-episode-2 Poor Evans Halshaw and Arnold Clark
  2. That would be interesting read for you as it looks like there are many more of those unrecorded ones than you would think https://www.autoexpress.co.uk/car-news/106336/the-great-british-car-insurance-write-off-scandal
  3. I think you got lucky with that LV situation if they actually clear the title because it was their mistake. I tried www.salvagehistory.org with one of my old cars and there was little info under results with link where you could purchase full “HPI Report” and it included all auction pictures. It was separate site but they must be working together. I think this is the tool I was talking about in other thread about missing writeoff categories or those put too late. It looks like you can search salvage auctions and it is live.
  4. Many “pro designers” just go to sites like one below and charge £££ when you can get ready logo for £25. Nick’s logo is a quite popular theme right now, and there is plenty to choose from. https://graphicriver.net/Car+logo-in-graphics
  5. I dont feel we have much control on what is going on there right now and many people regardless of how they voted feel dissapointed. 2 years of bull**** and they just scrapped it all couple of months before the final date. There was something in the news about 75mln fees for some consulting fees in secret contracts. I only wonder how much more they spent without telling the public.
