With the admin fee, we found in mail order products that most people really didn't look at the total price, for us we were sometimes a little bit more expensive but our delivery was cheaper and we always included batteries but customers were always blinkered by the main price. Both of those prices seem good to me but lease rates on 500's and fiesta are that low it's pointless buying almost new. If you could afford the hit I would reduce the prices to £4999 and £5999 that way if someone searches on autotrader with a £5000 or £6000 budget then your car will appear in the listings. You could try similar with the mileage.

When working for SEAT they delivered a box of goodies for the launch of the Leon Cupra R, customers love a freebie and the chocolate shaped Leon's were well received by kids as well as mums and dads. Included was some floppy fabric Frisbees, the sort with the heavy weighting around the edge which were great fun on a quite Sunday afternoon until one was thrown with a bit too much force and straight through the back window of an Ibiza!!

My first idea was Corgi or Matchbox based car with logo. I sometimes have some of my son's toy cars in my office and other children seem to make a beeline for them. I bought a few mini BMW toy cars for him off ebay and ended up giving a few away to children of customers, cost me about £3 each in bulk !!! Or maybe a car based 'Umesh' branded colouring or sticker book but I imagine the cost would mount up. As a father or a 5 and a 2 year old I can promise you Lego would be a hit but the price of it would put me off for something that's given away!

When it's nice and sunny - just passed it's MOT last week with no advisories!! Yes I know it's ridiculous but I love it :-) The other week I got chatting about future classics and my thoughts are there won't really be any. I think the mid 80's early 90's sporty stuff is worth investing in but with the modern engines, EML's, ABS systems etc are later cars just going to become too expensive to keep? and is there anything iconic enough out there? The 90's/00's were a bit bland for cars - what exciting stuff was there?

Mk4 Golf Tdi 90bhp. Enough space to use it as a van for parts pick up etc, 65mpg all the time regardless how it's driven and will happily take £20 of petrol as long as you top it up full with diesel afterwards, oops! Slowest vehicle known to man though. Porsche 944S and Yamaha R1 as toys
