Holly 0 Posted May 5, 2020 Hi All, The company work for has recently been building 360 degree scans of shops, venues and work spaces which can then be embedded onto our clients websites. They've proved to be quite useful during the current lockdown and I wanted find out if this might be something that would appeal to dealerships, now or in the future? For our existing clients its helped them maintain some of their customer base whilst they've been closed to the public and still gives the feel of being able to explore the products on offer. I'm aware there is an increasing trend of video illustrations to sell vehicles, but the 360 degree scan we do could be used to show a full forecourt or showroom. This may give potential customer the opportunity to view your premises without having to travel to get a view of what your business has to offer. We've found its been particularly useful when customers perceive there to be some kind of barrier to being able to visit in person. In the motor trade this may or may not be useful in selling an individual vehicle but it could be beneficial in showing the nature of your business premises and the way in which vehicles are presented for sale. We can add in 'hotspot areas' where the viewer can click on a particular car and then can be redirected to further information on your site, whether this be vehicle specs or finance options and pricing. This is a big step up from video and photographic content and is a really immersive experience for the customer. Many thanks, Holly If you have nice self contained premises,I think it is a good idea to show images of all the facilities.Better still if they can be embellished.However,it will need to be reasonably priced to get dealers to use it.Its a low margin business and funds for marketing are generally used up. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
