j4ck100 12 Posted September 18, 2015 I have a stone chip on a piece of stock that I've touched in with colour matched paint but it looks CRAP and stands out like a sore thumb to me at least. The colour match is ok ish it's just the fact you can see the "crater" still. Any thoughts on what to do aside from binning the car down the local scrap yard ? Gets some paint ready mixed with the lacquer build it up, den nib or wet flat back with 1500grit, then 2000 then 3000 then polish then refine to remove holograms. James Bush 95 Posted September 18, 2015 bit of lacquer in it, let it dry, then touch up on top, let it dry and repeat until the crater is filled, then a quick polish back with a light compound.......it'll never disappear unless you get it painted but it'll look better 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
