Mercedes A180cdi Gearbox Issues

Bought the above vehicle, approx 60 miles later the transmission visit workshop message appears. Car is in limp and won't go out of 2nd gear now and just revs high. It's a 2008 model with 75k, anyone on here had any experience with these types of problems?

Started this morning, no errors, knocked off once warm but as soon as I started it shortly after I had transmission message again. Seems to be only happening when it's warmed up.

It would of been a bigger surprise if the A-class was actually fault free. German engineering at its finest
