Tom 164 Posted November 22, 2017 Well the Tax spiral has now been answered. Any diesel car that doesn't meet latest emissions (Euro 6 cuurently) purchased after April 2018 will pay 1 tax band higher than its current band for the first 12 months and roll back consecutively there after. Will this hinder diesel sales? Probably, but after the first year it will still be cheaper than most bigger petrol's and mpg will obviously be better.
