jimreidvehicle 255 Posted December 5, 2013 With the weather turning increasingly wintery and the media scare mongering (again) about being prepared for another major storm( it's JUST winter, it happens every year) how does the extremes of weather in the UK affect your business? Has the best Summer weather for years been one of the major factors that the MotorTrade seems to be booming? Situated in NE Scotland where we can experience all 4 seasons in one day we feel that continuous , constant weather ,either good or bad has little affect on our business however the short bursts of sun & heat or wind& rain/sleet do! Tom 164 Posted December 5, 2013 I am more likely to sell a car in the rain than on a sunny day, people tend to go out for the day when its sunny and when it rains they get bored and come to buy a car!
Ian 15 Posted December 13, 2013 Bad weather = bad forecourt visitors but a rainy Hillman Hunter is usually a serious one!
