Hartley Cars Ltd 0 Posted October 12, 2017 Has anyone any advice on what we should do? We bought some Nissan Note DCIs from BCA, ex mod, we've sent off the docs to DVLA who tell us we can't have them as £20 road tax without a CoC which nissan want £140 and 6 weeks for each car!! Surely theres a better quicker way? Or do we just suffer PLG tax at £150 per year?
BHM 994 Posted October 12, 2017 Hi, a google search has your answer: https://www.british-car-auctions.co.uk/Documents/UK/Notes%20to%20Buyers/Lex_Def_Reg_Procedure_17-11-11.pdf
DHill 16 Posted October 12, 2017 Don't think there is an easier way I'm afraid. Used to be alot easier with the local DVLA offices but they're all shut now. I know someone who bought some last year and it did take around 6 weeks for everything.
sparky 274 Posted October 13, 2017 Ahhhh ex MOD cars, those were the days. 20k would get you a transporter load of Astra merit diesel estates in faded red that would never go wrong.
