FCA Application

Hi

I want to apply for FCA application. I want to know can I do it myself or I need to pay for some firms to handle the application?

Also, is there any website I can find model documents for the application?

I have a contact if you need help. He charges something like £695 for the application and then £500 which you pay to the FCA but he prepares all the necessary documentation for you..
