    David Horgan I got a invoice yesterday for a car I did not buy online! something is going on here! did any one else get one?

    If you refund him ( I would 100%, as you will all ways own that car) he could also make you collect the Audi from him at your cost and ask you for his service cost back that he has all ready spent on the Audi (any good lawyer will know this) Do not go to court, as you will 100% loss.     Dace 2302, Re DVLA road tax, the police work on a live system for road tax now, i.e if you tax 2pm they can see it live at 2.01pm. (same as the DVLA). But the public viewing system is not live and 24 to 72 hours behind. How do I know? I sold a car last week to a It contractor who build the system.

    ** Update** The DVLA have confirmed they are trying to out the trade checking feature back on, this is due to the high calls they are now getting from the Motor trade to check if the car is in the trade.

    Just looked on the DVLA road tax checker and you can no longer see if the car is in the trade (I.e you can tax at the post office without a v5, using a V62) any ideas where you can now check this?
