  1. When you wrote to them, did they ever reply as a buyer? they insist letter has to come from seller
  2. Well who pays the ticket if driven or parking ticket? dvla does not seem to record this
  3. I don’t have trade plates so tax it using new owner slip and then when sold new owner again taxes it using that sold my first car and think she was able to tax it else would have called me. Can you tax and sorn it multiple times using new v5/2 owner slip?
  4. Hi all, two questions, when you buy a car from another trade who has filled the yellow slip, what can you do? I have called dvla and they said original trader needs to write to them and they normally say on but never happens two, when you sell a car, what section do you fill in in the v5? I asked the buyer to fill new buyer section and that is it, i don’t fill existing seller details as I wasn’t previous owner but rather current trader. Should i fill the previous owner signature bit? thanks
  5. Hi all, i am just starting out and want to become successful in trading. I value morality and not handing over a car with many faults to people however having said this, I am starting with old cars from ebay, fix and resell for small profit yo make my way up. no my main concern is if you sell as trade, consumer has considerable right. If you buy a 2006 car with 100k miles then you can expect things to go wrong. As long as i sell the car in good condition and do make people aware it is decent car however it may develop problems at anytime, how do i do that legally? for instance i see cars advertised by traders for 1k or even £600 so you can bet he has it for free or £100 or so and has many problems. If you buy it you are taking responsibility for the issues and can’t expect it to last long. how do they stay legal? finally with trade plates, can you drive a car that doesn’t have mot? Thanks
