No such thing as easy money.

SHELDON MOT CENTRE LIMITED is also trading from the same site, owned by the same person.
The latest accounts being filed for both companies says that no trading is taking place!
Dodgy or what???

This got me checking my own diesel vehicle, registered April 2016, and is on a private plate.
Decoding the VIN tells me that it is a 2016 Model Year Vehicle, yet the Vehicle Certification Agency website holds conflicting data. I can only find my vehicle by telling the site that it is a 2015 my vehicle. This gives different emmissions to my registration certificate. Both though say that it is Euro 6 compliant.
Transport For London say my vehicle is not compliant.
Whether this is due to the plate change or not I dont know, but it looks like agro to now sort this out, should I wish to drive into London.
Things are not as clear cut as they seem.

You need a 3 phase power supply for commercial charging points to cope with the fast charge demand.

The banks grabbing cash will become the norm - https://www.mkfm.com/news/local-news/confirmed-saxon-bridge-liquidation/
Sad end to a good business that overstretched themselves, I suspect there may be many more.
Keep debt manageable and build your business in a manner that can cope with good times and bad times (and never overspend in the good times, keep the profit for the bad times).
The last accounts filed for Saxon Bridge were up to 31 August 2017.
No wonder the stocking funders withdrew their support and took the stock away.
So easy to blame it on Brexit!!

Doesn't his own insurance cover him for 3rd party if he is driving something else?

12 hours ago, Lakeside said:Any smoke of any colour emitted from a diesel is now a fail. Come on we all know most diesels will puff out a bit of smoke under acceleration, especially older ones.
Also now any “major” fault will result in the tester confiscating your keys as you won’t legally be allowed to drive it away? Again, this will be such an inconvenience to most general public they would probably just ring the scrap man to come and collect it.
Oh so wrong!!!!!
If the vehicle has, or should have a particulate filter fitted, and it emits smoke, then that is a fail!
As for the other remark about the tester confiscating your keys, you obviously don't under stand how the MOT system works

Applies to the Police as well!

My confusion is are they are claiming on the website to be of Dutch origin and a Dutch Auction Company.... Companies House states they are Car Dealers not a registered Auction Company...
The plot thickens!

- can see smoke of any colour coming from the exhaust
- finds evidence that the DPF has been tampered with"
They're really going after diesels... a bit of smoke and its a failure.
They are referring to vehicles that have a DPF fitted. They should not emit smoke.

It's the electronic control unit on the turbo that fails for a pass time. Originally a body off the chassis job, buy inventive people have designed tools to do the job of undoing bolts that you cannot see without splitting the vehicle. Still a mammoth job. Not for the feint hearted.

Probably traction control or ABS or DPF.

AA shares are in freefall. Closed at 75.52p. Down nearly 200p in a year! Might be closed by Thurdsay!

Neither Shell nor BP have refineries in the UK. Their fuel come from the same terminals as the supermarkets.
Their was an issue with contamination in the South West recently with Diesel from one of the terminals.
Some of the supermarkets were affected. So were some of the oil companies, but they were not so open about the problem.
People do add used cooking oils to their fuel whilst filling up. I seen it done to both new and old cars! Try to get them to admit to it when their is a problem!
Look at how olive oil sets when cold. False economy.

2 minutes ago, Stephen said:They state at pump its 7% so hows it total crap?
Supermarkets seem to have a higher content than others, as it makes it cheaper
1. Because you think it's basically filtered chip fat!!
2. 100% Bio Diesel last night was trading 18.618 ppl more than Diesel. Therefore a bioblend of 7% would cost more than a bioblend of 5%

41 minutes ago, Stephen said:Its something to do with the amount of bio fuel that supermarkets put in diesel, had problem on 15 plate transit few weeks ago and when the weather was freezing, it clogs up the fuel filter and puts it in limp mode. Had to have heaters on the fuel filter, it helped a bit, put new filter on and was perfect again. Apparently around here Morrisions is renown for it, even AA lad I know said when its freezing over night they get a fair few call out for it
All diesel sold has a percentage of biodiesel in it.
The only difference between fuel sold in supermarkets and fuel sold by the oil companies is the additives used.
28 minutes ago, Stephen said:Cant remember the exact percentage, but it was they use something like 7.2% filtered basically chip pan fat cant be good
Sorry, but total crap.

I personally feel that the guides are totally outdated these days.
How many of you admit pricing stock realistically based upon what others are selling for in your area!

This can open up a can of worms.
