I too have also suffered this fault many times. I'm having a 508 SW GT and issues with the gearbox. The gearbox BANGS almost every time when i select D. It does not matter if before it was in Neutral, Parking or Reverse, it always BANGS when i set it to Drive.. The gear changes however are smooth, lot of power, not slipping at all. Click here.
