I love clever car adverts. Ones that really make you remember them. There have been loads of brilliant ads this year - both video and print - which got me thinking. Which do you think was the best this year and why? My money goes on this one from Audi: It is simple, effective and perfect fodder for petrol heads. So that's mine, what's yours? Popped a deal in today, to go with three others this week, so delighted with the improvement.

We close on Monday night, for 24/25/26, then open 27/28/29/30 and 31 but only to 2pm, then everyone is back on the 2nd. We do weekend hours on 27 and 30 and the workshops admin parts just have a skeleton staff. As for bonus, party etc, that used to be easy when we only had one franchise and less than 20 staff, but now we are 40, but we had the same party, hotel in Leeds with other companies, and I offer a room at the hotel free or pay for the taxi home, and have a good night, I think we all deserve it, and for a bonus this year I spent a few quid on a prize draw and everyone got at least a drink or a big tin of chocs, and the lucky ones got an I pad, TV, hamper etc. They should all get a bonus at our year end too. I cant do it without them, so I share it about.

Clarkson! Joking, on a serious note, I think its difficult to select anyone, as we are all from all over, it's hard to meet everyone or learn about others, like who knows what changes the latest Subaru MD is making for example? its the people within your network or area that you should admire, which people made you sit up and look at what they have done, the people I admire are Robin Luscombe of Luscombe Leeds, a man who put his money where his mouth was and has had incredible results, and also the guy from WLMG, never met him, but his videos and the way he conducts himself are cool, also Peter Vardy, again never met him, but what he has done in such a small space of time is excellent and again the likes of his videos, makes it look fun a fun place to deal or work.
