Everyone I think you'll find the original question was "Do you think Vauxhall could ever take the number one spot from Ford?" The article written is strong and yes it would undoubtably manage to rub Vauxhall up the wrong way to get at least a reaction from them, even if that reaction was negative, which it did! But it comes back to the same thing James has asked, apart from a cheap advertising stunt from the Chairman /MD of Vauxhall stating that they would take top spot by 2016 without backing up the claim with why or how he thinks they will achieve this. Apart from being 2nd for so many years, the facts are that Vauxhall have never been close to top spot, even when Ford were stringing out the old Escort (before Focus times)! So with all this in mind back to the original question "Do you think Vauxhall could ever take the number one spot from Ford?" With the current line up.........I doubt it!

Great discussion and a similar point of view seems to be carried through, which is depends on the environment. Its not a one size fits all. When we started there were 3 of us, there was no real division. As the company has grown a degree of structure was introduced at certain levels of growth. I've slowly attended less and less of the social events, but encouraging team effort. I refuse to sit in one of the offices, but camp out on the floor to keep an ear on all goings on. I have the meeting rooms when private discussions or calls need to be made. At our current stage this works well. Unfortunately I end up more often than not eating my lunch at my desk which is a bad habit. Again I can keep an eye on things ensure we are staffed sufficiently to handle the calls. No doubt more changes will happen again if we meet the planned growth for 2014. Would be great to look at this post in 12 months time to see what did take place and if any changes were made.

The only issue I have is that every Tom, Dick and Harry can access this forum.

Umesh - can you not bulk upload your images to your website dashboard and your web providers system will automatically make the web ready for sizing? Your camera setting should be setup to as close as poss to match website sizing i.e. 640x480 etc With regards video - learning to shoot a 60sec video surely is quicker than 40 pics. The software in Youtube is good enough to use and make good productions. Most decent smartphones have a good camera on them these days, then just buy a related steady cam cradle and your away! We're predicting video in 2014 is going to see a big shift in use buy dealers looking to provide the next level of customer service.... Imagine getting a personalised video sent to you on the car your looking at. Essentially it would be 3 clips merged together; intro saying hi to the customer. Then the stock video of the car. Last clip again directed to your customer with contact details and AOB..... At that garage, you'll be selling more cars!
