Washdown of Vehicles at Delaerships

I am new to this forum and wanted to ask a few questions about washdown operations at car dealerships. In the interest of openness, washwater processing is our business and I hope your feedback will enable us to improve our systems.

 

1) Do you have a method of treating washwater at your sites?

2) If you use an interceptor/separator, how often do you have to have it emptied?

3) Do they do a good job, or do they get clogged and fail?

4) What problems do you encounter when considering the installation of a washbay?

5) Do you get feedback from the water companies/EA regarding your discharge?

 

I know it is not the most interesting topic in the world, but I hope these questions will start a discussion on how to best deal with washwater.
