Guest Posted April 16, 2014 Just read an interesting piece online about the differences between selling MGs and Rovers during the MG Rover days. Due to different customer bases, making a decent profit on an MG was difficult because hardly anyone ever paid list price. But with Rover, one dealer has been known to say selling a top-drawer 75 V6 Connoisseur SE was like 'lifting pennies off a dead man's eyes'. It obviously wasn't enough to save MG Rover and its dealers, but I would be interested to hear if you have had experience of this. Batch
