    Good news chaps. Rang up the dealer to book in for a service and told them about the missing stamp. Turns out they screwed up and didn't stamp in but its logged on their system that the service was done. Spent all night annoyed with myself about this and turns out it wasn't my fault after all. I have such a bad memory Anyway thanks your your help, feel much better selling this car now

    I have a 17 plate Polo I'm going to part ex very soon. I missed the service on the first year of the car (stupid me) but it was serviced the year after at 12k miles and I'm about to have it serviced again at 17k. Do you think missing that first years is going to impact on the resale price of the car as it doesn't have full service history?
