I sent mine off 1st December, came back 10/12/20 TP licence renewed, cheque cashed 24th Dec .........................

Fastest renewal I've ever had IIRC

I guess it all depends which actual C-19 home working dosser (or not) that your application gets sent to ????????????????????????????

I’ve never had a problem. When I receive the renewal, I send the cheque & completed form to the DVLA and then 2-3 weeks later the confirmation comes through.

I find paying my bills promptly & completing forms legibly helps.

I always send mine off the same day as I receive the notification but, as for the hand writing, well.
