Cars on Irish Plates

Recommended Posts

Is there anything to be aware of when buying cars on Irish plates? Does it put buyers off (I have cover plates on my ads anyway)? Can you get them on a UK plate, if that’s even worth bothering with!

Thanks for the help

Not in my experience; in fact the reverse.

I've often put an NI plate for my customers who don't want a year letter, then they often want it moved to the next car; it only costs £110 as long as you don't buy from DVLA.

Northern Ireland ones have been fine. And yes you can request an age related plate from dvla as far as I'm aware ..

Ears perked up..... If they are on southern plates, let me know what you've got could be worth a ryan air flight over :)

These are Northern Irish plates

UK so. Would consider them more desirable if anything.
