I’ve done it 3 times recently for sold cars with log books held up due to plate transfers at main dealers. The only stipulation is the car must have a current MOT.

Hi BHM, I’ve got one with no V5 or green slip, tried the 24hour number and can only be done with doc ref, did you just use the generic phone number?
