Many thanks for the link, unfortunately the last didget is a D and mine is a M. 

Just to point out to people who has messaged me that this vehicle is one of our sales cars and will not be used until this current situation blows over.

The 8HO the O needs to be a 0 (Zero)

 

The M part is a revision number (from memory) perhaps a later registered car on that model?

The earlier ones should be ok, but will require coding via vag com.

Had to buy a notoriously expensive 'q' unit for my A2 daily as the 2 back doors didnt open and on models without rear electric windows the ccm controls the rear door lock latches (£150)
