Audi A3 poor mpg

Recommended Posts

Hi all

I have a 2010 Audi A3 2.0tdi Quattro, mpg has dropped, did a mpg check, with £30 (28 litres) fuel, covered 190 miles, returning 29.8 mpg.

Can anyone advise please??

Tyre pressures?

Dpf regen?

brake hanging on?

injector over fuelling?

How much did you pay for your fuel?

supermarket shite is £1.20 per litre.
£30 worth is 25 litres, 25 litres is 5.5 gallons.
I make that 35mpg?

Urban driving I’d have said was ok for that car.

Start by checking if brakes binding (rear calipers can sieze on these). Then put VCDS on it and look at codes and any cam angle errors...
