Im sure my loss will come ...... Im just not looking forward to it being relatively new compared to some people i have done less cars i also try to stay away from the BMWs other than minis and anything complicated 4x4 wise.

Should have listened to my own advice about sticking to what i know.

BMW collected yesterday:

Drivers door dosent lock.

Seat belt dosent recognize its plugged in

Airbag light comes on.

and the car is all over the place under full throttle.

Other than that its a nice car and a lot of fun to drive.

A seat Matt emulator off eBay is what you need more than likely!

Indeed, they all sound like cheap fixes on a BMW.

Sounds very similar to the one I just sold for £10400. 8 days to sell.

How the hell do you sell a car in 8 days? That was me back in 2013-2015.

These days it's 1.5 months on average.

With great luck! Funnily enough last weekend I sold one, just under £6K, within 4 hours of advertising. My quickest sale (not the phone call, the actual money in hand) on a car advertised publicly was under 20 minutes on a £300 p/x Avensis estate.

I’ll point out last weekend was a pure fluke, if they go within a fortnight I’m doing cartwheels, some I have for months and the occasional one gets to blow out a candle on its birthday cake.

Is it a cushion off JOB ?

Have been doing a bit of googling and I came to the same conclusion.

To do the job properly to fit the occupancy sensor it is seat out, cloth or leather off it and replace Matt, proper pita job, done it once don’t fancy doing it again, much easier to get a plug in emulator from eBay which just plugs in under the seat ;)

Any chance you can link me to what you have used with some success.

Quiet a few advertised don't want to end up with the wrong one.

Thanks Mark

Ordered one see how we get get on

It didn't work on my car, ended up using a genuine occupancy mat from BMW which sorted it out - cost about £160 all in.

If your lucky lol. Im hoping its just the time of year, if so i picked the wrong time to start up again!

I do hope it picks up in the next few weeks, all I’ve had the past couple of weeks are time wasters!
