Bag of revels to the winner.

2006 56 MG ZT 260 , 45k, one owner, fsh,  proper thing.

No cheating,  just use the little grey cells and your gut, what do you think that's worth?

That's ringing a bell. Did you buy it? I think I may have seen the car on DA. Guess it went for something silly!

I tried DA once then thought, oh - it's the new Ebay. Not been on since and never looked at Rovers (well not for 15 years).

As proper as a Kevved up Rover 75 can be!

Id say £5960, reserve not met. Total guess, didn't have it on watching.

I must admit, I have a soft spot for Rover's and MG's and over the last 20 years have probably sold more of those than anything else, and they stopped selling 12 years ago. I've probably got a couple of old window mechs somewhere that fit this car :)

My old man had a clear out of some of my old stuff the other day. He binned 20 Rover 25 "passenger cubby holes", (which you could also fit into a Rover 200 to give extra storage space- exciting stuff), about 30 working digital clocks because the pixels used to go on them and about 10 chrome grills and headlights. Yes I admit, I had a problem, I couldnt go to a scrappy without loading up with Rover bits. Made a few quid out of them though, in the day those cubbys made £20, the clocks were £30 and a grill, easy £50. I'm over it now though.

Often wonder what happens some of these cars they end up at specialist for telephone numbers-on ebay wish I bought some years ago and stored then

Was looking at an xr4x4 on eBay the other day was telephone numbers

Was just saying to a mate how who had one he said he thought he remembered paying abour 4k from independent auction at the times back in the day

my dad had mk2 jaguars etc  back in the day and often said he wishes he covered them up in the garage and kept them good .

Retail £8995 at one of those Rover/MG/Triumph carandclassic type places.

I agree with that,it’s a good future classic.Although I know little about them except last Feb we took in a nice O2 60k Z3 good spec, fsh for £2500.I told my guy he had overvalued. He said it would do £6k and I laughed. So he put it on and this guy calls up wondering why it was so cheap.Anyway he pays up there and then. When he got it home,he called to thank us because he valued it at £10k !

I noticed it on DA. £7600, 55 bids, reserve not met and it's not on my watch list so no idea if it sold. Staggering really.

Even more staggering though, how can anyone hate an orange or coffee revel?:D
