Car sales or car auction?

Recommended Posts

http://www.binca.co.uk/

So, is it that easy to set up as a car auction and sell 'sold as seen' ?

  • All Vehicles are sold as seen on trade terms, exactly as they would be at any other auction. The sales invoice will show further info regarding the terms of sale.
  • Every buyer will be asked to read and sign a 'trade sale' invoice upon purchase

But is it that easy to set up as a 'car auction' to sidestep any consumer rights (check their terms and conditions) when you are clearly just retailing cars?

why don't we all do it?

Didn't someone post a similar set up on ebay.

This was a physical auction which I believe started "when one or more bidders are present"

The only staff we employ on site are key handlers, drivers and payment clerks......

Ask one of our staff to give you a valuation for your vehicle!

Who is the most generous out of then  with PX values then?!

Can’t see a company number on the website or even a Ltd company name... you can’t operate the way they do legally as explained on their website.

The business wasn’t incorporated or registered as an auction. It’s nature of business is car sales, just like ours. They cannot negate consumers rights just because they call themselves an “auction.”
