MrV 66 Posted November 2, 2018 As I'm new to the game I'm yet to have a return however I've previously sorted one fault with a Corsa co2 sensor a few weeks back and I've today been told the Corsa I sold on Monday has the EML light on. No light present upon collection or recorded on my PDI, customer confirms it also didn't appear during their journey home either. I know what my legal obligations are but I need to learn what assistance to offer, in this case what would you do? Go to the car and plug machine in? Tell them to come to me? Tell them to take it to a garage? Tell them the fault was not present when it was sold so not really my issue? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

It's me 609 Posted November 2, 2018 it will most likely be the maf beware hong kon fluey readers wont always show this and no live data wont help also be aware copies off ebay are very hit n miss new ones bout 90 notes from a decent factor keep the old one if im right because often you put it onto another cor sa and they ran fine vauxhall.pah........... Yes, do not be too hasty drive it a little, but on Vauxhalls 99.9% of Misfire cylinder 2, (P030x), so 2 in your case, but could be 1,3 or 4 as well, will be Coil Pack. DCS01 27 Posted November 2, 2018 Late to the party as you have fixed it. I’ve said before. Just get it back. Reduces the chances of another bellend telling them they shouldn’t have brought the car. I had someone last week that said it was EML. Turned out I was tyre pressure light. I got them to come up and ended up just putting air in the tyres. I also put £10 quid of fuel in for the journey. I did fold and saw a low mileage white/black roof Corsa and took a punt - 6 days later it broke. I have had two rejections this year - Vauxhall Meriva - twice. I've done ok so far, out of 7 Corsas I've diagnosed one with co2 sensor and left customer to sort and this one, my main problems have been with unreported or mis-reported bodywork!
