Best place to scrap your car in the UK?

Hi everyone,

I'm picking up my new car in 2 weeks time & I'm going to scrap my current one, in order to get some cash for it!

I was wondering if anyone knew of recycling centre, which has a baling machine suitable for a car?

I've seen this one  http://www.bronneberg-recycling.co.uk/en/products/car-balers/ in Trentham, but it might be a bit of a return journey for me from where I am based.

i remember the good old days scraping cars was not bad news £100-150 now you be lucky to get £20 soz i know thats not much help

as much as i like spam ive just had lovely ham and tomato sandwiches cut into very cute triangles for my lunch

no bailers were required
