Interesting thought a bit off topic, how much would some dealers have made if they had just kept the stock they had a year ago and had locked the gates and not sold any.

We said that last week my mate bought a used car from a main dealer last year and there around £1500 more for the same car just now much the same age and mileage ..

Young couple came in yesterday driving a 2017 Yeti.  Told me they had had an amazing offer on the car, had to take it and were now looking for something else.  They bought it in June last year for £10500 and WBAC have offered them £15300, therefore near enough a £5000 profit in a year. I check CAP and its £14150 clean.  He said he was dubious so went to his local site where they only knocked off £100.

On the flip side, I did buy two privates last week at £700 and £400 under the offers the owners had received from WBAC and Cazoo.  Owners expected to be messed around once on site so would rather support local business.   I still feel I paid too much, but at least that's two cars those assholes didn't get their hands on.

    I like that lol

Sorry if this is off topic but my father who's over 70 has been waiting 8 months for his driver's licence to be renewed. I know it's a long shot but just wondered if anyone on here has a contact at the DVLA to help. He had to send off his renewal, he couldn't do it online as he doesn't have a current passport and isn't intending to travel abroad anymore.

I renewed my mums online her previous licence was a photo card did it for dad too who was also before he gave up a couple of years neither had. A passport and didn’t even send an updated photo hope u get sorted .

Do you advertise with AA cars Casper? It's cheap and you're customer generally assumes cars are AA inspected which I am sure would be by your workshop and any apparent issues rectified. Plus consumer gets 12 months free basic breakdown cover, which adds credibility to your business. We used to have all our cars AA inspected big cost to carry, remember loosing a deal due to inspector noting "slight weep from cambox gasket which naturally we would rectify. Customer in their ignorance assumed engine was knackered and walked. Gave up with inspections soon after saved a fortune that was twenty years ago and we are still here.

Was more meaning do the aa do like a trade hpi check  I actually phoned them up and they said the do a basic report when you place an advert with them someone recommended the rac car passport to me ages ago so I could print out an hpi clear. Certificate I’m surprised the aa don’t do something similar that could be passed on the customer

Is it me or is it impossible to hear correctly what we are saying with the muzzles on

Don't get me wrong I'm having the booster this week and to be honest I prefer shopping when everyone has a mask as it stops the great unwashed coughing as they pass you in the shopping centre

    Comments?
