Daft question... having a major sort out and i've years (i mean years) worth of CAP & Glasses Guide Value Books Is there anywhere to get rid of them? Ebay job lot? Or just bin them?

Tbh no, i havent had anything for a while from them but they are localish so can't comment on the vehicles, but they still send me emails/auction cats through, just they emailed the other day to say all online fees are being waived

Personally i like the Menzerna range Menzerna Super Finish 3500 is a pretty good all round one stage polish (except for harder paints where i drop to 2200) Then Menzerna Power lock sealant, im not a huge fan of synthetics but it leaves a great finish and lasts well

I have to agree Just looked at your volvo V60. Exterior photographs have too much light exposure, you cant particulary see the bodywork clearly Also, without sounding rude, maybe its just that car , but looks like a rushed/bodge clean. The sills and arches are dirty, tyre shine poorly and badly applied, boot trim dirty. Also i dont understand the close up shots of the bumper corners? With the light exposure/sun shining on the car all i can see is swirl marks? Also showing the V5 and invoice, with Volvo Leasing written all over it would be putting me off personally

So is the new dealer auction £99 per month or £199 per year? I could swallow the yearly fee, but i wouldn't be willing to pay £99 per month for it Still havent been able to get on, but hearing its awful, seen a few dealers are now using other platforms, maybe worth sitting it out a bit longer and seeing what happens

G101 takes some beating, i use the stuff on everything I much prefer Autosmart Finish for trims etc, it doesn't have the horrible "fake" shine, tho very close to that is a product from Madcow called Mango Sauce. Really nice matt/semi shine finish and smells fantastic Whilst we are on the topic, i'd also recommend Madcow Ultra Violet as a QD/DA... Wonderful stuff

are the N18's any better on oil than the N14's? Had awful issues with Peugeots, DS3's and Minis with the 1.6 engine drinking oil

I look on facebook and my local "cars for sale" group Then i find a dodgy looking bloke who wants to play car dealer (the sort whos adverts are full of grammar and spelling mistakes, pictures took on the local council estate, every car is always "the cheapest for sale" or a "part exchange") I contact them explaining im a proper car dealer not a pretend one, and i have some cheap part ex's im looking to get rid of, and would he be interested in buying some I move the cars onto him, then watch him trying to sell them on facebook as a part exchange, his dads,mums, uncles cats car for a £170 profit Then sometimes, because im like this, and its more entertaining then Eastenders, Strictly Come Dancing, How to look fat naked etc.. i like to use another account and send messages asking questions.. service history? MOT advisory? Timing belt change etc knowing full well it has no history, a page full of advisories and no timing belt change and then watch him lie through his teeth about them before making a stupid offer of half what he paid for it

anybody use these? Are they any good? What are their prices like for buying? I sometimes get some rubbish part ex's that atm i usually stick on ebay, but im fed up of the time wasters. Tried a couple of sites offering to buy scrap cars/breakers however the price is awful. For instance.. i've got a 06 Nissan Xtrail SVE, all the kit on it, sat nav etc, its done 60,000 miles. Been owned by an old farmer, its filthy, proper farm truck, and the clutch/dmf is shagged. Best offer from these buying sites.... £135 ....

Tbh we had 2 sets of plates stolen off our pitch cars. Couldn't figure out why they had chosen just those 2 cars. But the plates were used to steal petrol from the local filling station, and to attempt to steal a trailer from a farmer. 1 Car wasn't mine, the other was our old run about. After much thinking, we worked out, those were the only 2 cars that were taxed Hence my thinking of plate covers. 2 Minutes on the DVLA site had informed them which cars were taxed and which plates to steal

I paid.. yes paid someone to take 2 SAAB 99 Turbos to the scrapper once, and all but gave away SAAB 900 Carlsson for a £300... theres one for sale atm for £20,000

Early MK1 E-Type, about 18 months before the price boom... Think it was about £50k-£60k at the time ... if only i could predict the future

Thanks Umesh I'm still on the fence over them, but seeing more and more companies going that way, and as Umesh says, i feel they look more professional
