  1. Well well, there was no threat in what i said. Isit me or is this forum full of arrogant people who misinterpret? All I inclined to your friend was am a little old fashioned and I really don't do the whole hide behind the monitor and talk a load of rubbish. It's simple really if you won't say something to someone in person or over the phone then don't say it online - this should be taught to Today's society... Am not responsible for a lifeless numpty who misinterprets and takes everything out of context. I just endeavoured to explain it to him in a range of different ways...but looks like he's disappeared (after appearing online several times) and sent you to fight his battles. Just for your information because you're sitting behind a screen it doesnt mean you can hide and say / do what you like And a word of advice: playing hard man on here whilst boasting your business online isnt wise... piss off some nutter and you won't be worried about "threats" your entire stock might be gone in 60 seconds....
  2. Well there you. The old saying in getting a partner is "you end up with someone similar to you". Same can apply for cocky little traders that get the cocky customers. Karma eh? Next time someone asks you that say "just a fiver mate".
  3. I never dealt with BCA Bedford, they don't sound too great. It's unfortunate that different BCA branches act differently, some much more friendly whilst others are stone cold zombies. North / South divide
  4. I know... but I didn't remove any ads he said he is local and didn't have cash on him in person. He was only 6 miles away to be fair, but turned up later than he said he will. Always a tell tale sign... It's just all the genuineness people express and show...and then I don't know what happens to them. Lol. Fair enough if he didn't like me or the price was too high, but it wasn't like that. From my background of work I can adjust and get on any "level" with a person and people find it easy to talk to me - for business and pleasure.
  5. "Loyal" members on the forum point the obvious that I have just joined, but they forget people may browse and / or have more than one alias... Well it seems like that with Asians because they are a minority compared to the whites. Just like how the polish are a minority to Asian... "99%" is a pure and simple stereotype am afraid...shows there's a lot of narrow minded "dealers" (squealers) on here... 99% is 99 out of EVERY SINGLE 100 Asian.... this includes but not limited to; old, young, middle aged, teen, professional, athlete - that is a ridiculous statement to be honest. You know it's a 2 way street, and that's in life not just with trading but with anything, so if you're going to hold such views of "99%" then am afraid you deserve all the shite that comes through your door... Case dismissed
  6. There you again assuming again. Like I said keep hiding behind the monitor son. Alternatively, put money where your mouth is and drop me your number and let's see what you got to say for yourself. Would love to pay you a visit see what you got to say in person.... Oh yes the big dealer, behind a screen, rolling in the big bucks yet been on here for 4 years? haha actions do speak louder than words. Like I said put money where your mouth is or alternatively continue your little petty jibes on the internet zzz
  7. We sure do. One thing I forgot to mention is that you might have brought the car that was either private or put in through by another trader - hence it conked out on you. Manheim, like BCA, will have different types of auctions and you might want to learn the type of auctions they are (e.g. where do the cars come from) and whether they come with inspection / mechanical reports. I have just about learnt the BCA stuff and can't be doing with Manheim at the moment hence I gave them a miss for now at least. Also the issue with bidding online is you can't see / hear the car in person. You miss out on when they start the car up, drive it, stop, any smoke, small noises, clutch movements etc etc.
  8. Certainly won't. Had a chap come round the other day, he wanted me to drive it for him and I insisted he should as he's wanting to part with £7k and it's only fair (general rule of politeness & fair treatment so they can't say it was faulty after the brought it). Anyway, he drove it and loved it. He wanted something a little more off the price, £800 from the asking price and after some negotiation both were happy with a £500 reduction. He said he will be back the next morning but disappeared since... I would still walk away with more than a grand of profit after giving him £500 off... fish slipped out of my net! There's one petrolhead out there... I know it!
  9. Certainly is. I do grit my teeth when I bid online sometimes as you can't see / hear it in person so the risks of it breaking down / big problems are higher. Sometimes I got them cheap and when I went round to pick them up they seem fine to me.
  10. Manheim fees are a bloody joke. I was going to join with them but then I thought no not worth it. Good you got it sorted, the car would've cost £6k far from what it's worth.
  11. Nice to see the usual red necks playing the race card... In fairness it can be said every culture / colour has it's fair share of idiots. Had 3 tattooed plonks in their trackies, caps, and black shoe/trainers...from the the north come the other day, revving the shit out of a diesel... and haggling over £100.... the excuses they came out with were a joke. Some Asians pay without a quibble some don't just like some whites and blacks... Social integration classes are free
  12. I would say put it through as a resale for the following and pay any loss but since "now" it is a non runner you might be left with the majority of the bill and no car...
  13. Cheers for that. To close the grey area off they go on the insurance database thesedays as that is a little more accurate so to speak as that is the bigger fine people will most likely have the car insurance. Essentially all 3 databases can be checked if the police want to; ownership, insurance and road tax. No I had already checked with the insurance at the time of taking the policy out. It was on my list of many questions when I took the policy out and I ensured that I wasn't speaking to an apprentice! Quite pathetic, post in digestable format for you? Seriously make me laugh, born without brains but with brawns? Funny how big boys like you do all the talk behind a monitor... keep at it son.
  14. I find this funny at auctions when people dressed like they roll in money checking out the £20k+ cars and leaning on them.... and they bid on all the sub £1k junk...inspecting it with a magnifying glass
  15. Customers that show genuine interest and will be back to take it... but to no avail! Had a few of them. Just be honest!
