  1. He speaks Spanish? That's Impressive! I may have to give you a call... :-) Excellent, thanks for letting us know. I'll add you to my list :-) Excellent! When you say "one" do you mean a cat or a dog? (Either is great, of course.) I'll add you to my list and will be in touch :-)
  2. Hello, me again. I thought I'd mention that we've signed up professional stunt and racing driving Annalese Ferrari as a guest speaker for WITMI at CDX16. Annalese will join World Touring Car Championship presenter Alexandra Legouix on the panel of key female influencers. Click here to read the full story and join in the conversation either here on by tweeting us at @CarDealerMag and @1Sophie_W. Don't forget to use the hashtags #WITMI and #CDX16 Thanks folks, Sophie
  3. One stage on, I think... I've been a 'crazy cat lady' for some time, but I prefer 'enthusiast' - I'm not completely bonkers! :-)
  4. Hey folks, As a car lover and animal enthusiast, I'm keen to find out if there are any dealers out there who have a furry showroom companion. I'd quite like to interview them. You know, to get there purrspective on the motor trade... Is that a yes? Great! Whether you've got a car-loving cat or a dealer dog, I'd love to hear from you. You can either leave me a message on here (and maybe add a pic) or email me on sophie@blackballmedia.co.uk. Thanks all, Sophie
  5. After digging in and doing a bit of research, I'm quite intrigued to find out what people think about the equality or inequality of male and female salespeople - what are your thoughts? Let me know!
  6. Do you think this could work in the motor trade industry? If dealers were to produce online adverts with not too much relevance to their companies, do you think they would receive more recognition just through producing a fun and creative advert?
  7. SMMT has released its latest registrations figures for October - figures are up four per cent to 157,354 units. SMMT has also raised its forecast from 2.22m to 2.25m units in 2013 and predicts the market will grow around one per cent in 2014 and 2015.
  8. It's interesting to hear the number of new model variations in the market is causing confusion in the used car trade. Are you struggling to understand all the different option packs, or worried that your valuations could be lower than they should be?
  9. Have you received your copy of Car Dealer Issue 68 yet? If you have, what did you enjoy reading the most? Remember, you can download the free iPad app, which is available now!
  10. Whether you're a small independent dealer or a large franchise group, this is your chance to take glory in one of Car Dealer's most competitive award categories. Don't forget you only have three days left to nominate and the clock is ticking, so make sure you get those nominations in!
