Correct. Fiesta, Corsa, Astra, Focus, 10-30 days. Good luck making a living selling 6-8 of them a month. Cheap, old German stuff could go in a matter of hours and at all hours. But properly prepared, low mileage, low owner niche German stuff, will sit for weeks because there just isn’t enough people willing to pay £8995 for a 2004 S500 or £6995 70k E46. I couldn’t think of a market I’d like to sell less to. The ratio of perverts to callers must be astronomical.

there arent enough decent cars to go round so there will have to be a feeding frenzy trade prices go up to unattainable figures margins for everyone gone the purse starts to empty lets be honest its a load of suits round a table like at poker chucking their money in because they have too much of it and they can

My current pain in the arse is an immaculate 2012 Golf GTI with 50k miles, full leather and dsg box just can’t give the bloody thing away. What I learned fairly quickly Is that the stock I really like doesn’t tend to sell fast, I like big rwd v8 things etc, yes there can be good margin in it but not when it sits for 3 times as long. You would be better aiming for nice 320d’s and adding value to them by fitting the black grills spoilers etc.

Child lock advisory means the tester is unable to test the rear doors opening from inside which is part of the test. Most testers will disable the lock, test and reenable it but advisory is also possible. Better than him disabling the lock and then not activating it again. Imagine the complaints.

I had one today “car tested when wet” and I also saw one on a car I was looking at “wipers could be better” I reckon some of them are bored shitless

From my photo point of view and not wanting to repeat what others have said, my advice would be to make sure that on the close detail photos, the car is really clean and you are highlighting the condition (and make sure it's in focus )

Hello El Presidente having seen on tv there advert its total pie in the sky, the thing i see is men all round a desk patting each other on the back and remarking how superb the advert is, if that is there idea of marketing, then no chance, from day one, i think that what all these investors are forgetting is they are selling second hand goods, and second hand goods have problems ! Lets look at there fleet, all over 3.5 ton, that means they should have tachos, so no records will be broke by the delivery driver, and trade plate drivers wont be interested, plus they're not trained to do the handover at pos, and cazoo will want proffesional handover anyway . The cost of advertising will kill the whole concept, has any of these money men actually ever bought a second hand car ? I posted on this next bit before, if you view there actual vehicles on there site, then do a dvla check, you will see they have been stood several months, most are not even sorn ! try delivering a car thats been stood that long! batteries ? brake discs ? oh the headaches !
